Students at PACE West receive a Daily Interaction Sheet (point sheet) each day. Students may earn a total of 10 points per period and there are 10 periods during the day. Students earn points as follows:

Students may also earn Bonus Points for displaying good behaviors, being helpful, completing extra work, etc.
Students may be Fined (have additional points subtracted) for displaying inappropriate behaviors.
Daily points are calculated by adding points earned during the periods, minus any fines which gives a daily total. Bonus points may be used to purchase items from the school store, but are not added into the points for calculating the daily total for the purpose of determining Successful or Unsuccessful Day.
Successful or Unsuccessful Day is determined for the student based upon their current Level within the Level System. The following are the point requirements for a Successful Day at each Level:
Orientation Level - minimum of 65 points
Level 1 - Minimum of 70 points
Level 2 - Minimum of 80 points
Level 3 - Minimum of 90 points
Honors Level - Minimum of 95 points
The Point System continues to be refined over time and for the 2009 - 2010 school year, there will be a slightly different point sheet for elementary students, middle school students and high school students. The point sheet will better reflect their actual schedules during the school day making it easier for parents to review their behavioral progress in school. Students take home their daily point sheet for parent signature. They receive 2 points for task completion the following day for their bus points for bringing back their signed point sheet.
